Wildlife
When you visit Treehouse Condos, you just might see more than you’re expecting. We have any number of animals and birds that live in the woods around us and make their way across our yards. Raccoons might visit your deck and groundhogs will wander around on the ground below the decks. Deer meander through the woods and occasionally graze between the buildings and even dart across the roads so be careful driving day and night! Red Fox and Bobcat have been spotted in the woods adjacent to the buildings and we hear the Fox screaming in the Spring and Summer night at times. Turkey gobble in the area in Spring and Bald Eagles winter around the lake, soaring above us on the breezes. The haunting call of the Pileated Woodpecker echoes through the trees and Canada Geese and turtles swim in the lake. And my favorite sound in the area, Whippoorwills call in the Springtime night. Great Horned Owls can be heard and occasionally seen along the lake as well.
We also have our very own wildlife onsite: Condo Cats! Yes, we have a few cats that live here permanently and enjoy life. We have Romeo and Shadow (affectionately known as Mama Cat) and a new Himalayan cat which adopted us we call Sasha. They are precious to us so please, drive carefully so as to not harm them.
Then we have a Welcome Shih Tzu named Maggie. You will see her and her friend Marilyn walking the grounds daily, always looking for a new friend to greet.
So, when you visit us to see Branson, be sure to keep an eye out for our wildlife as well. You never know what you might see!
